NEWS FLASH:
I've watched and followed Ryan and Shane from their B*zzfeed Unsolved days, before they even had the B*zzfeed Unsolved Network YouTube channel, and when they would randomly pick a fight or guest Steven.
And when they left and created Watcher Entertainment, I've always thought that their locations, cinematography, set design, little animation here and there, and creative content were on a scale higher than usual content creators on YouTube.
Watcher has a sleek branding, and they follow a rigid schedule for posting each content depending on their segment. Each segment is well-thought of, and caters to a certain niche of interest. It's not just ghost-hunting boys anymore. If you go back there’s a segment for just chatting, video games, cooking, culture, history, and other things.
I’ve always thought a production of their scale is bigger than YouTube. And I think they deserve to earn as much as they're putting in creating content in Watcher.
But in the same breath, I do understand and recognize that this is polarizing to int’l fans. Me included. I don’t know how they’ll be able to grow their following when things are behind the paywall. I’m also not sure how deleting existing content would benefit them. I don’t know how people would find their content other than ads if existing content is wiped out. But then again, I do not work as a content creator, so I’m probably ignorant about the things that happen behind the scenes.
The bottom line, I guess, is that I am proud of them. And I’m sad I wouldn’t be able to watch their content anymore.
But some things you cannot love for free.
Regardless, good luck to the Watcher Boys. Thank you for all the entertainment you’ve provided for free from all those years. May this may become a successful venture to you!
Until next time. 👁️

Not sure what possessed me to do this but watched too much b*zzfeed unsolved and now I’m so terrified of the killer coming to get me. Kind of like when I watched criminal minds for the first time at the ripe old age of twelve and i became absolutely convinced that my parents were secretly killers who were raising me up to murder me

whats your fave piece of nonfictional media
Ooh nonfictional media? I don’t watch a whole lot of nonfictional media but I’d probably have to say B*zzfeed Unsolved Supernatural/Ghost Files! It’s probably one of the only nonfiction media that I consistently try to keep up when there’s new episodes!

Finally back in business and twice as efficient! Only got zapped once lol 🔌⚡ Executive dysfunction can be a real bitch to content with, and starting up old projects after big setbacks can be really hard to find the energy for! It's okay to take a little while to get back in the swing of things :)

thepoolofthedead asked:
"You have no idea who I am" demon shyne and ryan
When recording Unsolved, Ryan and Shane had to get close. Whether it was because they were in small places, dark places or they had to share a room or a floor, they were close. Their relationship was healthy, friendly, fun and honestly, neither of them would change it for the world, but they had their secrets.
Ryan was nursing a - hopefully - secret crush.
Shane? Hiding something much more - his true identity.
And maybe a crush too, but that was neither here nor there.
In the later seasons of Supernatural, Ryan was getting cockier. Shane knew the man still believed in ghosts - not that that stopped him from teasing the hell out of Ryan about it - but he was less afraid. More…confident in himself and his place within the normal world and the spirit world. It was charming, if not a little jarring sometimes for the audience. And for Shane. While he was happy Ryan wasn’t completely terrified all the time, he did enjoy it when the man went running scared sometimes.
To please Shane, their next location was a suspected demon location, somewhere Ryan was most likely going to be terrified. Ryan didn’t prep Shane on the location this time, wanting it to be a surprise for him and Shane was happy with that, until they got there.
“You’re a little quiet.” Ryan commented as they passed around the house, helping TJ and the others setup the cameras. They were alone, Ryan setting up a static camera in what was apparently said to be the most haunted room, and Shane had a horrible, twisting feeling in his stomach. “Shane?”
“Hmm?” Shane made a strangled noise as he turned to face Ryan, “What did you say?”
“You’re quiet.” Ryan repeated, “What’s wrong?”
“It was a long flight.” Shane said with a shrug, “Here, give me the other camera, I’ll go set it up for you.”
Ryan was not convinced but he handed over the equipment and Shane swept from the room.
This house…he never thought he’d be back here.
The entire crew were sitting downstairs talking when Shane finally got there, and Ryan looked at him with a suspicious expression, but he said nothing when Shane took a seat and they planned the night. Solo investigations were a must in this house, although Ryan wasn’t looking forward to it, and neither was Shane.
“Are you sure you’re okay?” Ryan asked as they settled in to the living room of the house to tell the story of the place, before the walkaround began.
“Yeah Ry, I’m fine.” Shane replied with a tight smile, “Probably ate some bad hotdogs again.”
Wheezing, Ryan adjusted Shane’s camera slightly. “You and hotdogs I swear. Okay, everything good?”
“We’re good to go.” TJ and Mark gave a thumbs up from behind the cameras, and Ryan launched into the introduction and the story of the house, Shane chipping in every now and then.
It was difficult.
All the way through the story that Ryan was telling, Shane found himself wanting to put in, correct him, tell him the truth, and he only just managed to hold his tongue. Ryan noticed, but he didn’t falter in speaking, and Shane managed to keep the banter up without a problem for TJ and Mark, but Ryan knew him well.
Too well.
Insanely well.
So well that when they were alone, getting ready for their solo investigations with TJ and the others downstairs to make it feel even more authentic, Ryan caught Shane’s arm.
“What’s going on Shane?” He demanded, “You’ve been weird this entire shoot.”
Letting out a breath through his nose, Shane faced the corridor and rooms they would be investigating with a grim look. “I just never thought I’d be back here again.”
“Again?” Ryan asked, “You…you’ve been here before? On a trip?”
“No.” Shane said shortly, “No not on a trip.”
“Then when?”
“Don’t push this Ryan!”
“No! Tell me what’s going on Shane!”
“You have no idea who I am!” Shane snapped, whirling on Ryan and the shock and fear on Ryan’s face told Shane of his mistake. His eyes were fully black, sclera, iris and pupils gone for an inky blankness that betrayed Shane’s true identity. “You have no idea what I am.”
Ryan took one step, then two, away from Shane shakily, dropping the head-camera he was carrying until his back was against the wall.
“You-…you’re-you’re a demon?!”
“I’m a parasite!” Shane spat, “Just a parasite! This was my house, my home, my existence.”
“The stories I was telling-…?”
“Yeah they were about me.” Shane muttered, “I was the demon of this house. How ironic you chose this house when you wanted to get scared.”
Silence fell between them, Shane breathing hard as he tried to keep his human form normal for the cameras, but the horns were already starting to poke through, and his teeth were growing sharper. Ryan was getting more and more fearful, and there was a chance that the others would come and find them, Shane had to get himself under control.
“Shane-.”
“Look, let’s just finish this episode and then we can go our separate ways.” Shane said quietly, “And please delete this footage.”
He stood at the edge of the corridor, ready to walk, but before he had taken more than one step, Ryan grabbed his arm.
“Can we…talk?” He asked softly.
“I don’t think that’s a good idea.” Shane murmured, pulling his arm free. “This entire house was not a good idea. You should leave here. Take the others, go and never come back.”
“And leave you here?!” Ryan demanded.
“I doubt I can leave now I’m back.” Shane shrugged, “Just…let me go Ryan.”
“No.” Ryan bent down to pick up the ruined camera and slipped it into the pocket of his jacket. “Come with me. We’ll get some new equipment and we can continue. Just like normal. You’re…you’re a demon but…you’re still you right?”
Staring at Ryan in disbelief, Shane was frozen as Ryan traipsed down the stairs towards the rest of the crew to get a different camera. He couldn’t follow him, couldn’t go anywhere with his demonic features on show, and he was honestly surprised when Ryan came jogging back up the stairs.
“You ready?” He asked, gesturing for Shane to bend down so he could fasten the head camera in place.”
“This isn’t going to end well.” Shane muttered, “But sure.”
“Don’t worry,” Ryan replied, “I’ve got holy water if I need it.”
Rolling his eyes, Shane adjusted both his cameras and faced the corridor again.
Time would tell, he supposed.

Emmett throwing the ball toward’s Edward but Edward doesn’t notice so it just hits him in the chest: Edward, the ball!
Edward, pointing to a butterfly: That’s a monarch. It’s stunning.
